Product Management, Social Media Strategy - Marcus Logan
I was called upon to help develop a marketing strategy and fundraising initiative for a mass‐market release of “Pray the Devil Back to Hell” through Fork Films. The director & producer wanted to tie in superstar influencers to craft a strategy that would align with top-tier music industry executives and musicians We held 3 multi-media events in total. The film was screened with a gallery of images lining the event space showing the streets of Liberia and it's people. The theme was curated to draw the viewer into the beauty, struggle, violence and emotion happening during the civil war on the ground in Liberia. Celebrities including Russell Simmons, and Richard Branson came onboard as strong supporters. "Prey The Devil Back To Hell", directed by Gini Richter and produced by Abigail Disney won over 17 awards including “Best Documentary” at 2008’s Tribeca Film Festival.

Amplify was a social media marketing tool designed to provide communication solutions between brands and their consumers using incentive based engagement strategies. Amplify was co-created by Cool World Agency in conjunction with Conversation Marketing & Hiccup Media. Utilizing our Amplify network of over 250k brand enthusiasts we influenced our community to engage with the hosting brands community. The objective was for enthusiasts to organically discuss the brand messaging and the emotional connection they had with the brand on and off-line. We provided a stream of prizes, information & content during these engagement processes for the enthusiasts to gain valued points putting them at the top or bottom of the leader board. The grand prizes at the end of each campaign included premium prize packs, discount coupons, exclusive access to events. .
In a case study with Sean Comb's clothing brand, Sean John, Amplify succeeded in generating user registrations to create a unique online fan base while compiling demographic and psychographic information. We set out to gain 5,000 new users during the 3-week campaign. Within 5 days we gained close to 8,000 new users and over 50,000 by the end of our targeted date.

Tristan "Mack" Wilds Pop-Up Loft In Soho
For 10 days Cool World Agency & ReMiFa Music custom built a "pop-up" space for actor Tristan Wilds to promote his SONY release album "New York A Love Story". The space was fit with a round the clock DJ, projection screen TV, a bedroom with a king-size bed, chandeliers made from Air Jordans and an open bar every night. Debuting during MTV Awards week, Mack's House was visited by Hot 97 DJ, Angie Martinez, the Roots famed drummer Questlove, Busta Rhymes, singer, Luke James, Kelly Rowland and more.
Between the week of 8/21 – 8/27 Tristan's social media statistics were as follows:
Foxx released his second studio album, Unpredictable, in December 2005. It debuted at #2, selling 598,000 copies in its first week. The following week, the album rose to #1, selling an additional 200,000 copies. To date, the album has sold 1.98 million copies in the United States, and was certified double Platinum by the RIAA. The album also charted on the UK Albums Chart, where it peaked at #9. Foxx became the fourth artist to have won an Academy Award® for an acting role and to have achieved a #1 album in the U.S. (The other three to accomplish this feat were Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, and Barbra Streisand.)
On December 12, 2006, Tyrese released his fourth studio album Alter Ego, his first double disc album. It was also his first album in which he debuts his rap persona. The first single off the album was "One" debuting on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at #26.
Tristan "Mack" Wilds
Tristan Wilds is an American actor and Grammy-nominated recording artist. He is best known for his roles as Micheal Lee on the HBO original drama series The Wireand as Dixon Wilson on the CW drama series 90210.
In April of 2013, mega-producer Salaam remi (Amy Winehouse, The Fugees, Nas) called on CWA to discuss the launch of his new label Louder Than life/ReMiFa Music and the development of his newest signing Mack Wilds aka Tristan Wilds.
During the summer of 2013 Cool World Agency constructed an aggressive yet creative marketing strategy, progressively targeting a local-regional-national audience. CWA shot upfront content for half of the album, took meetings with every major music network, created an audacious week-long Pop-Up experience inviting every fan, street level DJ and indie blogger to support our developing story. On July 4th, CWA guided the launch of Mack Wild's 1st single "Own It" from the debut album, "New York A Love Story" with distribution by SONY Music. The album released on September 30, 2013. By November, Wilds received his first Grammy Award nomination for Best urban Contemporary Album at the 56th Grammy Awards to be held on January 26, 2014. "Own It" continued to climb the charts as "Mack Wilds" climbed to stardom.
